Trophy Mule Deer Hunts
All permits are guaranteed - NO DRAWINGS REQUIRED! We have quality, fair chase, mountain terrain, trophy buck hunts which are conducted on five different ranches in Utah, all of which currently have outstanding mule deer hunting. Some leases have steeper terrain, making them more physical to hunt. Some have thicker cover, requiring a more patient hunter. Due to our excellent management and pre-scouting efforts, in almost all cases, at current herd levels you will be hunting a 185 plus Boone & Crockett buck, with many bucks larger than this seen and taken. By being in reasonably good physical condition and being able to shoot at "western" yardages, your opportunity to harvest a trophy muley will be greatly enhanced. We are booking these hunts one to two years in advance, so if you're interested give Jeff, Trevor, Brody, or Kim a call to check available openings.
2005 Season Recap
Although 2005 produced some great deer, the hunting in general seemed to be a little tougher. Due to incredible spring moisture which produced plentiful feed the bucks seemed to hang in the trees more than usual and therefore were less visible. However, despite these circumstances we still harvested several bucks scoring over 190 B&C points and six bucks grossing over 200 B&C points including a 35" 9x11 beast which scored over 245 B&C points. In 2005 we saw many young bucks with great potential that we elected to pass and look forward to seeing what they become this year. We have also seen several bucks over 190 on the winter range during the last couple months and are excited to track down these elusive giants this coming hunting season. Overall we are very excited about what 2006 has in store and expect it to be as good as or better than 2005.
